The Reading Revolution is going global…
Through our Read to Lead courses we have developed a number of relationships with international partners:
In Denmark, our sister organisation Laeseforeningen (The Reading Society) implements the shared reading model in Aarhus and other cities in the country. Read more about the work of Laeseforeningen on our blog.
In Australia, the ‘Book Well’ scheme in State Library of Victoria, Melbourne, is based on our shared reading model. You can read more about Book Well in a feature article from The Age (March 2011).
In Belgium, we are developing a shared reading partnership with the city of Antwerp and the wider region of Flanders, led by the city council’s education service.
The Reader magazine also helps us to spread the message of our reading revolution to subscribers around the world: from Australia, USA, France, Estonia, Belgium, Thailand and Brazil. Our submissions have an international flavour too, with many coming from the USA and Canada, and as well as from India, Greece, Poland and Lebanon.
For more information on our international links, and if you’re interested in working with us, contact Chris Catterall, Managing Director: email@example.com
