Winter Wellbeing Workshop: Mary Oliver
Join us for an uplifting afternoon of warmth and wellbeing inspired by the late-American poet Mary Oliver. One of the most beloved writers of modern times, Oliver won the Pulitzer Prize and National Book Award, and is best known for her evocative poetry about nature.
We begin with a relaxed Shared Reading session led by our experienced practitioners using extracts from some of Oliver’s most beautiful works. We’ll then take a guided walk through Calderstones Park as we embrace the magic of nature in winter using poetry and mindfulness.
To finish the afternoon, we’ll return to the Mansion House to enjoy a warming drink and will provide everything you need to build your own poetry collection to take home – the perfect gift for a loved one or a treat for yourself to return to when you need a moment of inspiration and calm.
