Yoga for Complete Beginners
Why not try something new in 2020? As well as a fantastic form of exercise Yoga can be great for stress relief and mindfulness.
This 8-week Yoga for Complete Beginners course is for anybody who would like to start yoga from scratch in a small, supportive group with others who are not familiar with the practice. We will start with the basics covering four main aspects of yoga; the physical postures, breathwork, relaxation and meditation. There will also be knowledge given on the ancient scripts associated with yoga and stories around the origins of some of the postures practised in the class.
The full 8 weeks will be a progressive programme; gradually stepping up in each of these areas to meet the ability and desire of the individual. By the end of the course you will feel confident in attending any yoga class or developing your own routine at home based on the aspects you have found most beneficial to you.
You will gain the most benefit by attending the full 8 week course although we will build exercises up from the first level each week so drop in classes may also appeal.
£8 per class or £56 for the full course.
