A Summer of Masterclasses
Summer is here and the longer days leave even more time for literary thinking. As part of The Reader Organisation's Ongoing Learning, we have a calendar of upcoming Masterclasses to ensure you do some valuable reading throughout the summer days.
Masterclasses are special sessions designed exclusively for Read to Lead graduates, dealing with all aspects of developing shared reading practice. Come and learn expertise from The Reader Organisation's dedicated staff, build your skills and maintain quality in your shared reading facilitation.
Rites of Passage
Thursday 18th July, 5-8pm, Calderstones Mansion House, Liverpool
Come along to the future International Centre for Reading and Wellbeing at Calderstones Mansion House in Liverpool for this special evening Masterclass exploring pieces of literature that have been influential and meaningful in our lives. Led by Quality Practice Manager Kate McDonnell, we’ll create a living reading list and share the works that have inspired us, together.
Interrupted
Monday 5th August, 2-5.30pm, Central London (Venue TBC)
**Rescheduled from its original June slot**
Join Amanda Brown, The Reader Organisation’s Criminal Justice Projects Manager, to discover more about how interruptions in shared reading groups can be utilised to focus our discussions, making what may be viewed as potentially hindrances helpful.
If you've been on Read to Lead, make sure you stay in the sun this summer by booking your place for these brilliant Masterclasses. Places are FREE for first 12 months after completing Read to Lead as part of your Ongoing Learning. Beyond this, these Masterclasses cost £25, refreshments included.
