New national lockdown: changes to our service at Calderstones
“How far that little candle throws his beams! So shines a good deed in a weary world.”
William Shakespeare, The Merchant of Venice
In line with the latest government guidance, we’ll be closing the Mansion House, the Reader Café, Shop and Calderstones exhibition to the public from this Thursday 5 November.
Our team in the Ice Cream Parlour will still be serving hot food and speciality coffees to take away from 8.30am - 4pm on Wednesday to Sunday. Pop in for our famous ‘Mansion House Scouse’ and delicious homemade soups to warm you on a winter walk.
With our outdoor spaces more precious than ever, please take care to dispose of any litter responsibly using the bins located throughout the park. The external public toilets will remain open 7 days a week, 10am – 4pm.
Where we are open on site, we’ll be operating a one-way system and implementing further safety measures so that we can remain Covid-secure.
Once again, thank you for your support, we hope to see you again soon.
Look after yourselves everyone and remember:
"Self-love, my liege, is not so vile a sin, as self-neglecting"
- William Shakespeare, King Henry V."
