Shared Reading at Calderstones Mansion House
Last month, we opened the doors to Calderstones Mansion House, revealing our vision for what will become The International Centre of Reading and Wellbeing to the community. It was wonderful to share reading - and cake - with lots of visitors, and now that the long overdue Spring weather has finally arrived, there's no better way to celebrate than by getting down to the park and joining one of our new, free weekly reading groups starting at Calderstones Mansion House.
The details are as follows:
- Time for Me, Wednesdays, 6-7.30pm (from Wednesday 8th May)
- Book at Breakfast, Mondays, 10-11.30am (from Monday 13th May)
Both sessions are open to all - expect lots of literature and shared reading along with tea, coffee, snacks and a friendly welcome, all in the beautiful setting of Calderstones Park.
We look forward to seeing you there. Feel free to contact sophiepovey@thereader.org.uk for more details, or just turn up!
