Poems from Home on World Poetry Day
As most of us are relocating to home for the time being, we’re sharing some Poems From Home with you.
It’s been a difficult week for us all, but we’re hoping that we can provide a lift in a time of crisis by reading some of our favourite poems from the comfort of home.
We also didn’t want to miss out on the chance to celebrate World Poetry Day (Saturday 21 March). More than ever, we need poetry to stimulate, soothe and inspire us, allowing us to go to other places when we can’t physically do so.
Keep checking here as well as The Reader Facebook and Twitter over the coming weeks for more content to keep us reading and feeling connected while in-person groups are on pause.
Thanks to Erin, Sophie and Charlotte for sharing their Poems From Home for us to enjoy, and we look forward to bringing you many more in the weeks to come.
