A Little, Aloud and Angie at Wirral Bookfest
This year's Wirral Libraries Bookfest runs from October 8th-13th and within a packed programme, editor of the A Little, Aloud series Angie Macmillan will be appearing at West Kirby Library on Tuesday 9th October to talk through the anthologies and explore the joy and power of reading aloud.
At this free event, you'll be able to join Angie to find out how the books came into being, why she chose to feature the stories and poems that appear and why it's never too early or late to begin sharing reading aloud. If you haven't already picked up a copy of A Little, Aloud for Children then now is the perfect chance to do so - not only as it's currently Children's Book Week, but also to get yourself ready for Angie's talk! Though the event is free, booking ahead is essential.
