Festive Readers Evening at Upton Library
Festive Readers Evening
Wednesday 5th December 2012, 6.30-9pm
Upton Library, Wirral
Enjoy a night of Christmas cheer and reading at Upton Library; a perfect way to begin the festive season. Editor of the A Little, Aloud series and co-editor of The Reader Angela Macmillan is the guest of honour at the evening, and will be reading a seasonal selection of extracts from A Little, Aloud as well as some festive poetry.
The evening's reading will be accompanied by book discussion, a quiz, live music, raffle and refreshments to enjoy, plus if you're searching for Christmas presents to suit the book lover in your life, members of The Reader Organisation's Wirral team will be on hand with some Readerly gifts that they'll be sure to love...it'll be a great night to get you fully into the Christmas spirit.
Festivities get underway from 6.30pm on Wednesday 5th December, with tickets for the event costing £3. Tickets are available from all Wirral Council libraries. For more information, contact Upton Library on uptonlibrary@wirral.gov.uk or call 0151 677 5677.
