Venues across the city are preparing to throw open their doors for another spectacular Light Night, as Liverpool gears up for its annual one-night festival of arts and culture. From 5pm on Friday 13th May, visitors of all ages can roam the city indulging in any of the 90 special events taking place, which range from exhibitions and theatre to city tours and workshops – there’s certainly something for everyone! Don’t forget, Our Read will also be taking part in the evening’s festivities – we’ll be at Brew on Bold Street from 5pm – 8pm, enjoying a Chain Read of Frank Cottrell Boyce’s fantastic new book, The Unforgotten Coat, written exclusively for us. Come along and enjoy this wonderful story, pick up a copy and join in or sit back and relax with a brew – it’s up to you! Brew are also offering Chain Read participants a 10% discount – so there’s really no excuse not to come along!
