Midsummer Reads at Leasowe Library
Midsummer Reads
Wednesday 26th June, 6.30pm
Leasowe Library
Leasowe Library and The Reader Organisation present a fun-filled evening celebrating summer reading, in partnership with Leasowe Development Trust and Leasowe Community Homes.
Come down to Leasowe Library this Wednesday at 6.30pm to see what literary treats are in store to accompany the sunny days and summer nights, as well as enjoy lots of reading including some reading aloud live on the night by director of TRO Jane Davis.
If you don't have your summer reads sorted yet then Midsummer Reads is the perfect chance to find your holiday book companion - staff from the library will be championing selections from the Richard and Judy Book Club Spring Reads, which will also be available to check out on the night if they catch your attention. Refreshments and finger food will also be provided.
A wonderful way to spend a midsummer evening! Midsummer Reads is free to attend for Wirral Libraries members, and £3 on the door.
For more information, contact Leasowe Library on 0151 638 4013 or e-mail leasowelibrary@wirral.gov.uk
