Proud to Read Aloud

Written by The Reader, 2nd February 2011

Reading aloud - it's what we do, isn't it? If you have your copy of A Little, Aloud you would definitely know that. "So why", you ask, "isn't any of it available online for me to listen to?"

Well, ask no more.

Here is the first in our series of 'Proud to Read Aloud' poems. We will bring you one each week (or thereabouts), read by a member of TRO staff for your aural enjoyment. This week, it's Mark Till, our Training Administrator, reading Thomas Hardy's 'The Darkling Thrush'.

A lovely reading of a poem that never fails to move me each time I read or hear it. And today with the wind at 20mph, I am thinking of all the blast beruffled plumes out there – poor things

[…] Did you miss the first one? No matter: listen here. […]
