Wirral Bookfest 2010 is taking place from 11-17th October and has a jam-packed schedule of events catering for everyone from keen readers to those who have rarely set foot in their local library. A collection of exciting authors, performers and speakers have been lined up to deliver workshops and talks covering topics from local and family history, to performance poetry and horror stories.
Two highlights include An Evening with Carol Ann Duffy, the Poet Laureate, and a Family Fun Day which features circus skills, rapping and a chance to hear from Frank Cottrell Boyce, author of Millions and Cosmic.
Tickets are now available from Wirral branch libraries.
