Ahead of the Game: Read to Lead London 2012
53 days, 2 hours, 30 minutes and counting . . .
No, not the countdown to London 2012, but a cultural event of equal stature - Read to Lead London 2012!
We are delighted to announce that applications are open for the latest Read to Lead course, which will be running (no pun intended) in central London on Mondays 3rd, 10th, and 17th September 2012.
Read to Lead is the only course which equips you with the skills and outlook of a Shared Reading Facilitator, inspiring you to establish shared reading groups in your own workplace or community. Structured as three cumulative workshops, this course is an intense literary workout which will provide you with a new understanding of the role of literature in all of our lives.
"The sense of accomplishment and purpose I get from running my group has spilled over into a general increase in my job satisfaction."
Learning Support Librarian, London
The countdown has begun, so stay ahead of the game and send your application form or any enquiries to Roisin Hyland, Training Coordinator: roisinhyland@thereader.org.uk or 0151 207 7207.
