He has been called one of Britain's best-loved comic writers, a natural storyteller and 'a born raconteur' and now Gervais Phinn is coming to St George's Hall on Wednesday 19th December for a special yuletide evening.
Best known for his best-selling autobiographical novels, The Other Side of the Dale, Over Hill and Dale and Head Over Heels in the Dales, which appeared on Radio 4's 'Book of the Week', the award-winning author, radio and TV personality has been selling out theatres across the country for over nine years, and with this latest seasonal appearance will share his hilarious and poignant tales of his life as a schools inspector in the Yorkshire Dales.
