Wigtown Poetry Competition – Open for Entries
The Wigtown Poetry Competition is Scotland’s most prestigious poetry prize. The 2010-2011 competition was launched at last year's book festival on Friday 1st October, in an event with last year’s winner, Alan Buckley.
You can enter online here.
Winning poets will be invited to appear at the Wigtown Book Festival in 2011, and will be published in Southlight, the Dumfries and Galloway Literary magazine.
1st Prize is £2500.
