The Reader Café and Mansion House closed Monday & Tuesday due to weather warnings
In response to extreme weather warnings issued for high temperatures on Monday and Tuesday next week (18 & 19 July), we’ll be closing the Mansion House for a couple of days in the interest of the safety of our volunteers, staff and visitors.
The Reader Café, Mansion House, Bookshop and the Storybarn will be closed on Monday 18 and Tuesday 19 July, with all activities, including Shared Reading, cancelled until it’s safe to return on Wednesday.
For anyone who does brave the heat, please take care and follow local safety advice. The Ice Cream Parlour and Hatch (at the side of the Mansion House) will be open serving ice cream and cold drinks to help anyone out who might need to cool off.
