Keep Reading and Run on
Despite our recent move, despite the boxes and the inevitable stress, we have still been training (well, not everybody but I suppose we will hear more about that over the next few weeks...) and getting our lycra on for this year’s Liverpool 5k team challenge https://5kteamchallenge.runliverpool.org.uk/
But let's be honest: we’re readers, not runners; and as past blog posts have proven, we LOVE cake. I’m not talking about low-fat-skinny-marge cake, I’m talking big-large-creamy or chocolate-y cake.
So out of sympathy for the health of our staff, we ask you to support our Reader Runners to help us raise money for our extremely valuable work with looked-after children. You can do this by visiting our charitygiving page.
This year we want to get more people involved including fellow readers, volunteers and GIR group members so if you feel that you would like to run and raise money fo The Reader Organisation's work with looked-after children, please e-mail niallgibney@thereader.org.uk for more information.
