Calling all performance poets - an invaluable opportunity to get your voice heard is coming to Manchester.
Apples and Snakes, England's leading organisation for spoken word and performance poetry, is holding the Poets: Get Heard, Get Seen, Get Noticed workshop on Saturday 2nd February. The stimulating session is designed for performance poets, offering the information and motivation required to raise profile and maximise potential.
Acclaimed performance poet and writer Tony Walsh will lead the session, taking attendees on a tour of different self-promotion tools as well as providing practical tips and advice.
The workshop is appropriate for poets at all stages in their career, from those starting out on the scene and seeking paid work to established artists who want to get up to speed on the best ways of maintaining and growing their profile.
Tickets to the event are free, but advance booking is essential.
