Congratulations Milo!

Milo, Angela Macmillan's wonderful dog (I don't say that lightly, I'm not all that keen of dogs but Milo, he's really special...), came second in the Best Rescue Dog category at the Southport Town and Country Fair last weekend (second out of three!). We're all very proud!

Congratulations to MILO! looking so proud with its rosette , proving that you give an ounce of love you get a stone back ( not literally)
I decided to let my dog got to heaven as not well , I don’t like the expression I have lost my dog as if i had I would go out and find her!
MY dog “poppy was very special as all animals are to their owners but i always tell people not to let me fall asleep incase slipping into a diabetic coma , many human beings don’t take much notice when i am dozing off in the middle of the day but poppy always knew when not well and would summon help!
I can kind of understand Jenn not liking dogs as I am not overkeen on cats bit consider dogs more loyal to their owners, dogs get a lot of bad press but looked after in the right way are really no threat!
Hope Milo got a special treat off Angie on this vey proud day!

Love your thought that he’s ‘small for a rescue dog’, Sean! As if dogs have to grow up big and tough on the mean streets… He only looks small, by the way. He’s got a huge personality.
Poppy sounds like a great dog, louise. I love the way dogs know what matters and the way they actually transform themselves into better beings the more you need their help. Poppy certainly measured up!
I had better explain that these days the term ‘rescue dog’ means a dog that has been rescued rather than a dog that rescues, although I am sure Milo would try is best to rescue someone in trouble if he could. But as you say, Sean, he is rather on the small side.
