Get Into Reading a Runner Up in the RISE Awards
We've just found out that our Get Into Reading project is a runner up in the Lemos&Crane RISE Awards 2011!
The awards are presented for excellence in improving the quality of life and well-being of mental health service users receiving support in the community.
Entries were received from over 80 groups and organisations delivering services in the community that generated positive outcomes in one or more of three areas: developing positive personal identity and self-esteem; developing and sustaining relationships; promoting positive life satisfaction.
More than 270 voters participated in the final selection process from 18 shortlisted entries.
Get Into Reading is among a total of five runners up which include Camden Calling, and ACCEPT Mental Health Trust. Harrow Rethink Support Group has been named the overall winner,
