The Reader Organisation at Book Week Scotland 2012
Get Into Reading with The Reader Organisation
11am-12.30pm, Saturday 1st December, The Mitchell Library, Glasgow
FREE
This week (26th November -2nd December) is Book Week Scotland 2012 and what a jam-packed programme there is! Scottish Book Trust and their partners have organised over 350 events with authors, poets and storytellers across the country for the first national celebration of books and reading.
The full programme of events is available here and one of the highlights of the week is a pop-up festival at the Mitchell Library in Glasgow which features activities, talks and workshops for book-lovers of all ages. As well as appearances from Frank Cottrell Boyce and Iain M. Banks, our very own Casi Dylan will be running a free Get Into Reading taster session in the library from 11am-12.30pm. No booking is required, so if you're in the area, why not pop along and enjoy a relaxing and stimulating break from everyday life, sharing good books in good company.
What better way to spend a Saturday?
