The Reading Cure: A Very Special Panel Member
It is with great delight (and excitement) that I can announce that Liverpool's legendary literature lover, Brian Nellist MBE, will be making an appearance at two of The Reader Organisation's events at the Bluecoat's Chapter & Verse literature festival.
Brian Nellist, the man behind 'Ask The Reader' in The Reader magazine is no stranger to tackling problems with his vast literary knowledge, and will be the star of the panel for The Reading Cure: Chapter (2.30pm, Sunday 12th October) and The Reading Cure: Verse (2.30pm, Sunday 19th October). Ready with his incredible literary expertise and infectious enthusisam, Brain will join Editor of The Reader, Phil Davis, Deputy Editor Angela Macmillan and Director of The Reader Organisation, Jane Davis to help solve your problems - serious or trivial - with the help of some of our greatest stories, novels and poems. Not only will you discover how fiction really can help reality but you will be entertained, enthralled and inspired by the man who helped bring The Reader into being and whose support and passion for The Reader Organisation helped to bring us to where we are today.
Do not miss this unusual opportunity to meet - and be inspired by - the grandfather of The Reader Organisation.
