TRO at Guernsey Literary Festival: Portable Ha’Penny Readings Preview
As we mentioned yesterday, this week is all about The Reader Organisation taking shared reading to the Guernsey Literary Festival, and in particular to many children and young people across the island. Our annual children's reading extravaganza, the Ha'Penny Readings, is going on tour and over the next few days there will be Portable Ha'Penny Readings aplenty in Guernsey, mixing stories and poems with a range of wacky and wonderful entertainment. It's going to be a blast!
As is customary at the Ha'Penny Readings, our very own MC extraordinaire and Young People's Project Worker for Glasgow Patrick Fisher will be overseeing proceedings - as well as treating audiences to his own inimitable style of reading aloud. Have a look at the video below for a sneaky preview of just what to expect if you're lucky enough to be heading down...(and be sure to snap up free tickets for Saturday's Portable Ha'Penny Readings right here)
