World Book Day 2016 Competition Entries
We were so excited to have hundreds of entries to our competition celebrating World Book Day 2016 this March. We set the task for children across Liverpool to show us what they love about their favourite book in a drawing, painting or collage in order for their whole class to win a trip to The Storybarn.
Congratulations to our winner:
Ja'meelah Griffiths, St Silas C of E Primary School (Reception) who won with her wonderful picture of The Gruffalo.
Our runners-up are:
Gold Runner-Up: Lilia Taghizadeh, Sabrina Zhang and Kirpa Baweja, Kensington Primary School (Year 6) with their entry ‘The Midnight Gate’
Silver Runner-Up: Oscar Osborn, Booker Avenue Infant School (Year 2), with his entry 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory'
Bronze Runner-Up: Rhys, St Brigids School (Year 2) with his entry 'Up and Down'
You can see the full shortlised entries on the Liverpool Echo Mums Club website. The winning entry will also be displayed in The Reader Ice Cream Parlour, next to The Storybarn.
We loved all of the amazing entries so much that we're featuring all of them here. Scroll through the gallery below to find your work of art!
