Women’s Social Leadership Awards 2013 – Jane is nominated!
We're delighted to announce that Founder and Director of The Reader Organisation Jane Davis has been shortlisted in the Ogunte Women's Social Leadership Awards 2013 in the category of Social Business Leader.
Now in its seventh year, the Women's Social Leadership Awards recognise women who lead, influence, campaign and connect within society, offering innovative and bold solutions to pressing social and environmental issues and make a measurable social impact, showing leadership qualities that can be replicated by others. Nine women, including Jane, have been nominated in the 2013 Awards, and they truly are nine women who 'tilt the world upside down'!
The category of Social Business Leader 2013 recognises women founders or leaders of a social business with a track record. Jane is joined in this category by Benita Matofska of The People Who Share and Sofia Bustamante of London Creative Labs.
The winners of each category will be announced on Tuesday 4th June, but there is also a People's Vote Award in which all finalists are involved - and it's YOU who gets to choose the winner!
To register your vote for the People's Vote Award, click to and share the following link : https://ogunte.wufoo.com/forms/m7x3s5/ All you need to do is say why you would like Jane to win - it couldn't be easier. Voting for the People's Vote Award is open until Wednesday 15th May.
Best of luck to all involved!
