The Reader Organisation’s Reading Revolution is changing the way people of all ages and from all backgrounds respond to, and value, great books.
Their pioneering project, Get Into Reading delivers over 250 weekly read aloud Get Into Reading groups in workplaces, hospitals, dementia care homes, schools, GP surgeries, libraries, mental health wards and prisons across the UK. They know reading aloud together develops good mental health, increases literacy, builds supportive communities and provides meaning.
What’s more they’re turning non-readers into readers, page by page.
