A Book and a Brew
Chain Read
Friday 13th May, 5-8pm
Brew Tea Co., Bold Street, Liverpool
Our Read is getting involved in Light Night this year to give you an event worth staying up late for! From 5pm – 8pm on Friday 13th May, we’ll be holding a relaxed and cosy Chain Read of Frank Cottrell Boyce’s fantastic new book, The Unforgotten Coat, written exclusively for Our Read. Join us at Brew on Bold Street to hear the story of two Mongolian brothers, who arrive at a school in Bootle, and the experiences they share with their new friend and guide, Julie.
Our last Chain Read on World Book Day was a huge success – why not take a look at the photos on our Facebook page? – and we’re certain this event will be just as much fun. We’ll have plenty of free copies for you to take home and share with your friends and family, and Brew are also offering a 10% discount for those taking part in the event.
So, sit back and relax with this wonderful book and a brew, or pick up a copy and join in – it’s up to you!
If you'd like to register as an official Brew reader, please email ourread@thereader.org.uk to book your reading slot for the night.
