Volunteering opportunities for summer 2021

As the lockdown restrictions lift, we’re preparing to reopen the doors to the Mansion House in Calderstones Park.

The Mansion House is greatly supported by volunteers and we’re on the lookout for some extra hands to help us out.

Whether you have specific skills to share, or you’re looking to do something different, there are lots of ways to get involved. At the moment, we particularly need help in our reception and welcome area, in The Reader Shop, and in our heritage exhibition rooms. Take a look at the full list of opportunities here.

As a volunteer, you’ll become part of  our warm Reader team, receive training and support, and enjoy 20% off at The Reader Café and Ice Cream Parlour.
